School History

Coyote Springs Elementary School, located at 6625 N. Cattletrack Drive in Prescott Valley, Arizona, serves students from preschool through fifth grade. The school is part of the Humboldt Unified School District, and serves the northern side of Prescott Valley.

The Prescott Valley area, rooted in a history of ranching, has evolved into a vibrant community that values education and growth.

Coyote Springs Elementary reflects this spirit by offering a comprehensive, world-class education that emphasizes the development of critical thinking, collaboration, creativity, and effective communication skills.

Established in 1992 to prepare students to become college and career-ready citizens, Coyote Springs Elementary provides a rigorous academic curriculum aligned with the Arizona College and Career Readiness Standards. The school focuses on core subjects such as English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and Technology. Students engage in authentic learning experiences that involve solving real-world problems, promoting critical thinking, problem-solving, research, writing, and community connections.
